I just wanted to post our newest additions to our modest collection. The two darker green pieces I'm almost certain are Zanesville, but we don't know about the other two. The larger lighter green bowl has a pewter lid with a leaf as the handle. Any help would be appreciated, but if not please enjoy!

Hi YoungAntiques,

Thanks for sharing youe collection of pottery with us.

I suspect the hand thrown porcelain low bowl with indented lip is modern. The glaze is very nice.

The other three appear to have been slip molded and my favorite is the one with the pewter lid.

I am a sucker for all green glazes on pottery and pick them up whenever I can find and afford them.

Best,

Fred

Thank you Fred! My favorite is the one with the pewter lid as well! It is such a unique piece. Does anybody know/think anything about the other two pieces? Zanesville?
