I have a vase that I believe is a Weller Woodcaft Vase. How do I know it is a Weller for sure (what markings should I look for), and how do I best determine an estimate of value?
Pottery is not my expertise and I do believe this is a great example of Weller Woodcraft. Not all pottery is signed. I always look at the design and craftsmanship and then confirm with signature. This is a great vase.

You did not mention size. Weller did one 13" and one 12" both have a 1999 book value of 400.00-500.00 USD which is really only a guide at best.
The pottery market seems to be very soft right now. If you did a search on eBay you might get some sense(at least in that venue)of what one is willing to pay for Woodcraft. Live auctions seem to fetch better prices.
Weller introduced Woodcraft in the 20's. It is a beautiful line. Nice find.
