Hi. I picked this up today at an auction. I would like to learn about it. It's age and find out what it might be worth. Maybe I might sell it, but the wife loves it so maybe not. Any info would be great.
Here are the photos of the vase. Thanks so much http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/agar1996/100_0973.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/agar1996/100_0970.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/agar1996/100_0969.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/agar1996/100_0967.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v150/agar1996/100_0965.jpg |

Hi.
Artist: painted by Naomi Truitt Walch Potteries: Weller Pottery 1920's Lines or Glazes: Hudson, Bonito Subject Matter: floral Mark: It has the ‘full-kiln” ink stamp which dates it to the middle 1920’s There are several variations within in Hudson art ware line but yours I believe is the “true” Hudson which is characterized by a shaded background such as blue to pink or pink to soft green. If you Google her name with Weller pottery you should find more info and some idea of value. Nice piece of pottery. Hope this helps. Mac |
