Hello, I am new to posting. I hope I have done this right. I really could use some help with this vase. I have searched books, internet, ebay, and online catalogues/auctions. Can not find anything like it. Can anyone give me a clue? Thanks in advance for any help. |

carolj,
Welcome to the forum. I took the liberty of putting one of the photos into your post. It is a very nice vase. How big is it? Have you ruled out Zanesville? It looks like theirs to me. There is a lot of ordinary Zanesville stuff out there but they did some interesting novelty glazes that look similar. Lauren |

Hello,
Thank you Lauren. Did not know if I could put all the pictures in the listing. I really haven't ruled anyone out. I was trying to find the pattern or design. Very very shiny glaze. I did some shots with the flash and without. To look at the vase in normal light it is very brown. But with bright flash it comes out very tan. It stands 9 1/2 " tall. About 5" at the widest point. Rings inside or coiled and towards the top the rings are noticeable on the outside. Thank you for answering me and giving your insight. Carole |
