Hello Wylieboy,
Welcome to the Arts and crafts Society and we hope you continue coming back as this is truly a great place to find out about A&C works.
However if you were to turn the bowl over to see if there is a mark on the bottom it may help in identifying it. It is sad that there is a chip on the rim otherwise it might be worth a lot more if it had no defects. Its is an interesting bowl though.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones

Ralph,
Thanks for responding. Ther is no mark on the bottom. That's why I'm stumped. At any rate, is there a name or description for that kind of turquoise glaze? Bob

Hello Bob,
Not being an authority in this section of the periods I would say it could have been made in the area of New Mexico from around the post war day of the second world war but again I am not sure. However it does look familiar.

Respectfully,

Ralph
