If you know how to post a message, you can also post an image. There are two ways to put an image on the site.

Method 1

One way to post an image so it appears in the message itself, is to use a location on the Web where your image lives. If you have a Flickr account* for example, you can right-click on the image there to Copy the Image Location URL.

In the message box on the forum, click the picture icon on the menu bar over the message section. Paste the image URL into the Image URL text box. Align the image if you want.

Add your message and click Post Now to load your message and image.

*If you don't have a Flickr account, you may load your image to our Arts & Crafts Society Flickr Account. This makes it possible to keep images from getting lost and having broken links. You'll need to be approved as a member first though. This is just to prevent having someone come in and load a lot of junk into our image directory. Of course, you can easily create a personal Flickr account if you'd rather.

Method 2

The second method is easy and somewhat more obvious, which is why people use it. However, you may run into size issues that you are less likely to have if you pull the image in from a web account like Flickr.

To add an image with just the link, go into the message box.
Click Add Attachment.
Click Browse to select the image on your computer.
Click Post Now to add the image.
