The signature is not a familiar one to me. Is this a painting from the Arts & Crafts Movement. The signature looks a bit more modern in style. This forum is populated with folks interested in the Arts & Crafts Movement period of history and in items made during that time frame and in the spirit of the Movement.

Thanks FZweig. It was bought in 1967 at a resale shop. if it would help here is a link to the painting itself in case that can help give more info.

Your painting appears to have been made within the last 30years or so in style made popular by Bob Ross. I am not familiar with the artist and I suspect it will be difficult to pin he or she down.
