Could anyone kindly help me identify a couple of old oil paintings I have with the initials"WMT" on the front of them, please see attachment.

The painting you post appears to be the work of a Hudson River School artist. These artists worked during the mid 19th Century. This does not fit into the area of expertise for those in the forum. I suggest you find someone with knowledge of the artists who worked in this style and with those initials. There is a listing of signatures in a book by John Castango and he even has a website with examples of well know artists. W initials
