I discovered this while cleaning out mom's apartment. All she remembers is it was a gift from an uncle approx 20 yrs ago.

I've been told by a local artist it is a serigraph. Lower left corner contains notation "AP XXII/L"

While the print emulates a Leroy Neiman animal print, its definitely not his signature.

Can anyone identify the artst or suggest a no-cost resources I can pursue ? I've tried to natch at artistssignatures.com but have not found a match. The local museum was no help and local college art department offered to look but no response to date.

I'm not interested in valuation; just trying to learn a little more about the artist.

A copy of the print is attached to part 2 of this post.

Thanks for any assistance.
