I have a very old machine to press decoration into wood

Anyone know anything about this before I feed it some wood?

Pressed decoration is not a part of the A & C movment in any way.

And my guess is that you use a oil lamp, hand saw and drill .......that's all OK

Sorry if the machine offends your senses

It is a machine made well before WWI and the truth is there were/are machines in the movement
as they developed

Please don't forget that many movements in Europe we're decorated far more than American items

What a fascinating machine! I'll bet that woodworkers and theatrical props artisans would love, love, love to see such a thing.
