Hello,
I hope someone out there can help me. I've nearly gone mad trying to find the proper color of wood stain (which I can buy, and don't have to attempt to make) for by 1912 home. I am looking to stain baseboards and window casings. But I can't seem to find a colour which is both dark enough, and has that hint of red. Does anyone have any suggestions about readily available products? Is there a company which creates authentic period woodstains?
