I just bought my first house and believe that it might be an Arts and Crafts home, but am not sure. It was built in 1929 is that helps. I attached some pictures and would appreciate any information that can be provided! Also I am open to restoration and renovation ideas! Thanks!

Katy,
I wouldn't call it an Arts & Crafts home but I would call it a bungalow. It looks like there was a front porch at one time and it's been enclosed some time in the past. It would be interesting to see what is under the siding that was put on the gable.. Parts of the decorative knee braces are hiding under that stuff. Lucky you that the brick is not painted, it's very nice. I love the bird house. Something inexpensive to do, that would make the house seem more "mission" or A&C is to replace the colonial style outdoor lighting and house numbers with something more in keeping with the bungalow style. Congrats on the new house. Lauren |
