I own a 1931 Chicago Bungalow, and one of my springtime projects is to remove the white paint off of the limestone blocks that form the stair rail leading up to my front door. Has anyone had experience with this? My understanding is a power washer shouldn't be used because it may damage the stone. Has anyone used a chemical stripper to do this? If so, what type do you recommend?
