Anyone familiar with this desk (picture is attached)that I believe was made by the Wolverine Mfg. Co.?

Nice desk. Has it been refinished? I like the hardware.

I believe that the Wolverine Mfg. Co. was out of Michigan.

This was just a picture I found that is identical to the piece I actually have. It is identical. Just wondering if one has been sold at auction so I know the value. It has an ink spot on the top, so I think it was a school/student desk, or maybe a home desk at one time. Thanks.

Looks like your picture is from the Craftsman Auction site and the selling price was $750, which is pretty fair for this kind of desk. The more generic ones often go for less. Here's a previous thread on Wolverine/Cadillac Cabinet:

Thanks for the info Stonecat. Yes,it's a picture from the web but my desk is an identical piece. A sticker inside the drawer states Wolverine Mfg., Detroit, orgd 1887.
