Well Folks, I don't know what I did wrong but no picture as you can see. There is no paper clip and I used the URL box to try to attach the picture. Would someone please tell me what I did wrong?

Ralph,
You need to have your pictures stored on a file hosting site on the web to be able to copy the web address (url tag) to this site, so that they can be viewed. I assume you have been copying the address for other pictures you have posted, directly from a web site, and this works as well. So any digital pictures you have on your home computer need to be uploaded to a free file hosting service to then be able to be seen here. I am using www.onfinite.com but there are many others out there like photobucket, imageshack, etc. Sign up with one of these and then follow the instructions to upload, then view your pics on their site and then copy the url or web address to the message posting window using the second last button in the tool bar above where you write in the message. Sounds complicated but when you do it a couple times it's pretty easy. |

Hello Stonecat,
On the forum where I am writing the history there is a paper clip that I click onto that then goes to browse and then to my pictures in my documents. I choose the one I want and upload it via the existing program on that particular forum. Thanks for your help though and I will try the one you gave me as soon as I figure out what you said. I did have forsight enough to copy your post so I would have it in front of me to follow. These are not digital pictures that I am working with but, scanned pictures. Respectfully, Ralph Jones www.ralphjoneswoodworking.com |
