Hi all
Thanks in advance for your help. I picked up this rocker yesterday from Craigslist. It has obviously been refinished, and there are no maker marks on it anywhere. What do you think? ![]() |

Anybody?
Of course, it looks like a Gustav Stickley sewing rocker, but I'm sure there were lots of imitators. Anyone want to go out on a limb? |

Mike, see message below. Most of us who would normally respond to this type of message have jumped ship to another forum (long story). You will have to jump a couple hoops to post your pictures (there are instructions under the "Announcements" section) but I can guarantee you will get a very quick response on the other forum. BTW, looks like a great chair - haven't checked the details but you rarely see imitations done that well...

The rocker looks exactly like a Gustav #303, found in my copy of "The 1912 and 1915 Gustav Stickley Craftsman Furniture Catalogs"
Dimensions: Back = 33 in seat 14 in high 17 in wide 16 in deep {added Pic} |
