Email from a reader:

hello,

i came across your forum looking for information regarding a john a dunn rocking chair that i inherited from my great grandmother. it was in her attic for a long time and after removing the dust this chair was in tip top shape. the green label underneath stated it was made in boston massachusetts and indicates the number lot of this chair as well as the date the co was established and incorporated. the oil from our hands has polished up the arms of the chair nicely and no restoration was needed.

i see there has not been to much luck in info regarding this company. can you lead me to any web site or book that may have more info, big history buff!

thanks!

Hello Friends,
If you would post a picture of the chair maybe some of us can help you look for some identification.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones
