I'm considering purchasing a Lakeside Crafts Shops piece and can't find any info on the web. Does anyone have that book that covers all the pieces? The piece I'm considering is an interesting cross between a cellarette and a footstool; it has a leather top, an open shelf and then a door with brass hardware that opens down, not out. It's roughly two feet wide, maybe a little over a foot deep and a foot and a half tall. Also, can anyone give a price range? I know their stuff is not as high as Stickley, but I've never seen a piece like this. I usually only see smoke stands and bookshelves. The patina is original and it is marked and in otherwise very good shape. I can buy it for $200. Thanks in advance.

Does not seem like a bad price. Alot depends on whether you plan to keep it or resell and if it is something that appeals to you.

Good luck,

I may need to flip it to pay for some other stuff--just wondering what it might go for on Ebay.

I found a Lakeside crafts shop smoke stand with original label in great condition. The stand was rather plan, but intact with original finish and lined humidor. I don't have a key to the lock. I found it in a little shop for $39.00. Whem I asked the owner if I was reading the price correctly, she said she could do better! I paid $33.00. Probably my best A&C buy. I also have a Lakeside Cellarette. I am hoping the value to Lakeside Crafters just keeps increasing.

Hello Jackson,
Since you are in Troy, Ohio and I in London we are only about forty miles apart. I would be honored if you were to drop down sometime. We could talk in length about the A&C Movement and what it means to keep it alive.

You may contact me by Ralj7@AOL.com or cell phone 740 506 3012.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones

Welcome to the forum Jackson,

Sounds like you got a wonderful deal on the smoke stand. Can you post an image of it? We love pictures.

Jackson's rocker, but I don't have a picture of the smokestand though. (I posted the clock -- which is oh-so-cool on the original thread.)

This is the rocker I got over the weekend. The side slats are fanned. May be a generic piece. This is no visable label. Any ideas?
