Does anyone have an interest.. if I take a few pictures of pieces as they are being assembled, and explain the assembly?? Like to learn about floating panels, floating tops, tenons, keys etc?? I always think it is kind of interesting to see a piece come together.. to understand the joints.. ~Rob

Sure, progress logs are always interesting to check out. I'm also interested in the tools used and whether things are done with hand tools or power tools.

Good Morning rob,
Having been in woodworking soon to be 57 years I am always interested in other peoples methods of construction of furniture, cabinets and so forth. I feel that as long as you are will to invest the time to do these things the least we can do is to give you the courtisy to read and look at your progerss. also I am wondering if you would accept constructive critisism? Attached is one of my projects.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones

I look at it as constructive critisism is an opportunity to learn and improve.. There is so much to learn on woodworking.. and we are always developing and growing. There are also 10 methods to get the same result.. so to me just seeing the verious techniques etc.. is very interesting..

The Limbert table looks sharp.. The color and shape are very nice.. What kind of finish do you use??

One thing I always look for in the finish is for it not to be 'too glossy' .. Personally i like the soft sheen.. It seems that most of the furniture now has a thick plastic 'factory fresh' look to it..
