i found this in an alley waiting for trash pickup. the drawer needs a new bottom and there is a loose board on the back side. other wise, cleaning and overcoat and it will be ready to use.

biggest drawback is top is not quartered.

Good Morning Don,
Some people are just plain lucky and believe it or not this is some of the ways that I have found some real jewels.

Respectfully,

probably wont go that far.....

the entrance to my relatives off street parking is through the alley. so it was literally right in front of me.

i was loading this in a truck yesterday for my sister-in-law to work on and found a label on the underside of the drawer for "Grand Rapids Table Co."

how many different companies were in GR anyway?

Don,

It always amazes me what folks throw away. Looks like a pretty good project for the next few weekends. Pity the drawer is nowhere to be found.

Hello Lucky,
All you have to do is just drop a piece of Masonite in the inside of the drawer about 1/8" thick and you will have a smooth bottom again and won't damage the actual bottom.
