I found this table online. I believe there are others interested in purchasing it besides me so I am wondering how much one should offer for this piece if I really want to get it.

It is a 48" round table 29" high. Seller says it has a stickley label underneath.

Any comments if these are the same? I have a chance to buy this for $400!

If this is a Stickley Bros table then $400 is a steal. Does this table have a leaf? It does look good.

The fact that you mention you want it seem that the price is a no brainer. Where could you find someone to make this table for that price?

If it is a piece of Quaint furniture then you have made a great purchase.

Let us know what you decide?

Best,

Fred

Unfortunately the table does not have any leaves, which I'm sure diminishes its value, but I could always have some leaves built.

I hope I can get this piece before the others!

Bummer! Mad at the seller, or mad at yourself?! You've got to jump when you see something like this. Your first post was on June 15th, anything more than 24 hours is too long in this electronic age. Had you offered the seller the full $400 asking price, or did you try to get an even better 'steal of a price'? Better luck next time--something will show up.

Yes, I should have gone sooner to get it, but I don't have a truck and it was almost 3 hrs away so this held me up a little. Then I found out the skirt was cracked in one place.

Whoever bought it got a hell of a deal!

Better luck next time....
