all of the limbert pieces are collectable and have reasonably high value. it would help to see photos that can be referenced to recent auctions and sales.
you could also contact jerry cohen at craftsman antiques http://www.artsncrafts.com/. he is a partner in the most respected auction house for arts and crafts items in the country. he offers free appraisals. the lack of chairs will obviously effect the value as a "set", but each piece will have a respectable value in itself. the style is also a concern. limbert went beyond the mission/arts and crafts period and into the other revival styles. these have less value than the early mission stuff. hope this gives you a starting point. |
