This chair belonged to my grandfather (born in 1879). I don't know when he bought it but it must have been in the 1930's or 40's. He lived in Portsmouth Ohio (southern Ohio along the Ohio River) When I got it, it was upholstered in a really ugly green velvet material. I had it re-finished and re-upholstered. It's not real comfortable but does look nice. No markings what so ever were on it.
Any help identifying it would be appreciated.
