to construct a small coffee table. There are a few other woods i would be willing to uses, but the palm fits in the whole theme of things. Is palm a good wood to work with? The Table will be 48inches by 18inches, but 3 inches deep. Those are just basic dimensions, the leg system gets a little complicated, and i am still working on a joint system. Any advise?

i'm starting a small taboret of quartered sycamore, a beautiful figured grain, locally grown, just what the A&C philosophy calls for, ideas adapted to local materials and environment. i'll post pics when im done
