Don, Excellent! Is that JCs building next door to the south? He was telling us about how much more stuff he had. I did see the basement when we went to pick up the Stickley bros rocker. It is also packed full of stuff. I will be back down there when I get my two current projects finished.

SC, I have seen a lot of stuff about that dealer. My local dealer commented one time about that dealer buying up all of the A&C stuff. Must be well known. Kind of odd that they are in the south (GA, right?). I was in Memphis a couple months ago and saw two total A&C pieces in the 7 or 8 stores we were in and no one knew of dealers who carried any.

Yep, the guy is in Atlanta. 20,000 square feet I think is what he says he has.

Up my way I can scrounge through an entire multi dealer mall and find next to nothing, and the malls within driving distance are in the 15,000 to 30,000 square foot range.

I'm off to a big field show this Saturday and I know there are a few dedicated A&C dealers, but of course the bargains are likely to be with the general weekend warrior types.

The one place I have to get to sometime is Clarence, NY because its within reasonable driving and it looks to be pretty huge. Maybe Brimfield next year, the biggest of the big.

Wow, Don, where is this guy?
Does he sell to anyone?

I am in desperate need of little bench/settee. I have been looking for a way that way we can sit with the kids and help them with the computer. We want it to look A & C.

Thanks for sharing that. It is a picture to drool over.

Steve, where is your dealer?

I drive for two days to see this stuff and buy some of it. We have gaps in our A & C collection that we have not be able to fill for quite awhile. And yes, it is getting harder to find A & C stuff.

Bev,
"My" dealer is in southern Indiana. Their card is attached. They are great folks and going to their place is an experience in itself. They live on a couple hundred acres in the middle of nowhere in a log cabin that houses an absolutely incredible collection of A&C furniture, lighting, pottery, etc. However, I don't think a tour of the house is part of the standard visit. I've only been in once.

They have a very nice very large pole barn filled with A&C items including fantastic furniture. Chuck has been in the business something like 20 years and if he doesn't have it, he can find it. I think he used to be the primary source for JC who then resold items in Louisville. JC's web site is:
http://www.jcdreamlight.com/

Good luck, where are you? Let me know if you visit Chuck's place. Also, just call him if you have questions about what he has. They are quite happy to chat about any and all things A&C!

We moved from Albuquerque, NM to Starkville, MS last summer in time to get all of the bad weather. (Little damage in Starkvile but no electricity, ice, phones or gas for awhile.) My husband got a great job at the local university here. There is very little A & C in Mississippi but there was a lot of it in Albuquerque.

And, yes, I would take a trip up to Indiana to get a settee and some more Roseville Pottery.

Thanks for the information.

Bev.
