Well I have an Ethan Allen dresser sitting in my basement and I was wondering what this type of furniture can fetch? It is old - I know that. When I get back from work tomorrow, I will post some pics and look for some markings/year. But does anyone have any idea as to what its value would be or what old Ethan Allen furniture usually goes for? Also, I have a huge painting sitting down there to, would anyone possibly be able to appraise that simply by looking at it if I took a picture of it? Thanks everyone!

Hello Tim,
We on the Arts and Crafts Society forums refrain from giving any type of estimate on any piece of furniture or other items, however we do encourage you to seek out a professional appraisor to look at your piece and since none of us are licensed to appraise we just don't attempt to do it. We may say that a piece like that in another location brought $xxxx but, that doesn't mean that your piece is worth that much. Also it relieves us of any law suit for giving false information. By the way welcome to the A&C forums and we hope you find us interesting enough that you will continue coming back. Respectfully, Ralph Jones Forum Host www.ralphjoneswoodworking.com |
