I would be nice if we can see a picture of the chair. Stickley and Brandt was associated with Charles Stickley, one of the younger brothers of Gustav Stickley. Located in Binghampton, NY, Charles Stickley produced some good quality arts & crafts pieces. Many of his case pieces borrowed on Gus' design. In fact, Gus sold him hardware. But Stickley and Brandt pieces were never totally equal or on par with Gus or L & JG. In the pantheon of the Stickley family, the hierarchy would be Gus, Leopold (and John George), Albert (Stickley Bros. Quaint Furniture) and then Charles. The the value for a piece of comparable arts & crafts furniture would follow suit. Gus being on top. However, as with all antique furniture, once you refinish, or even rebuild it, it will devalue the piece sometimes nearly in half. Rarity also affects price. Chairs and rockers are fairly common pieces and don't demand higher prices than case pieces.

I saw the pictures. Thanks. The chair is definitely not arts & crafts. More like a later piece, some sort of European rival piece. A "fancy" chair. The popularity of these types of chairs, even if they were made by a Stickley are rather poor. An arts & crafts auction house like Treadway or Rago would not accept this chair.

From Stickley Brothers :
Charles Stickley and Schuyler C. Brandt formed the Stickley & Brandt Chair company in 1891 and then also formed the Stickley-Brandt Furniture Company.
The book states that between 1890 and 1900 they added historical revivals to their line of furniture. These fancy chairs are highly ornate reproductions of the Chippendale or Sheraton styles.

Of all the Stickleys theirs are the only catalogs that haven't been reproduced in recent years. I saw one auctioned off this year(image) so hopefully we can look forward to that.
