If someone recognizes this footstool, please let me know. It is a hefty piece--16" x 20", 16" tall. The legs are 2 1/8" x 2" and it is heavy!

Thanks!

I don't know who made it, but the arched stretchers are a nice match to your Limbert Morris chair.

And that finish looks great! Beautiful slight wear in the right places...

You know Pete, it's starting to get ridiculous how many nice pieces you come up with. I'm really starting to get jealous...

What a great looking bench! Do you have any idea how you're going to finish it? I personally would do nothing to the wood except waxing. Congratulations.

Best,

Fred

Fred, what type of wax would you use for this project? For that matter, any project.

I was thinking just cleanup and wax on the footstool--and of course another cushion cover!

Pete,
I have seen that stool else where but, I can't put a finger on the maker and I have searched five different books today trying to find it.

I do think that I will print it out and see how close I can make one for my wife, who is in a wheel chair and that stool would allow her to
elevate her feet some during the day.

What are the measurements?

Ralph

The overall measurements are on the very first post. I'll measure the pieces and post tonight.

These measurements should allow you to make shop drawings:

Legs are 16" long. 2 1/8" x 2" (wider side on end of stool)

Side panel and rail pieces are 13/16" thick.

Picture below is taken from the end. Sides have no upper rail. Inside (between legs) length of the side is 15 5/8", outside length is 19 8/8".

Cushion frame rail is mounted 1 7/16" below side panel.

The legs are 90 degrees to the side rails--the picture gives somewhat of a fish eye illusion toward the bottom of the legs!

The 19 8/8" above is a typo, should read 19 7/8"
