Good Morning Friends,
I am about to tell you who I am, so sit back and read and you will find out just who I am. I started my apprenticeship under my grand father on my thirteenth birthday as we are Welsh, and it was tradition that when a boy turned thirteen, he would start his apprenticeship in the family trade. Our's was woodworking, I worked in the Carpenters Union for 17 years and taught the apprenticeship program for 5 years, then went to teaching Vocational Carpentry for a total of 16 years of teaching. I semi retired to my own business of full time construction and ran it for 2 1/2 years then decided to again semi retire to my shop at home because my wife was was srickened to a wheel chair. That way I could be close to her. I custom build anything that comes in my shop as well as refurbish and repair furniture. To date I have been in the business for 57 years. I am also the Arts and Crafts Furniture Forum host on WOOD ON LINE, as well as being the official quiz writer for WOOD MAGAZINE on the same forum. Should you care to know more about me and visit my tutorial web site just click on my hometown signature at the bottom of this post. We are all human beings and sometimes we say and do things that folks misunderstand or take the wrong way and for that I am sorry for any misunderstanding that I might create, please accept my humble apologies when I do such a thing. Respectfully, Ralph Jones http://hometown.aol.com/ralj7/index.htm |

Ralph,
I don't think there is any need to apologize to anybody, but well done nonetheless. I somehow don't think this Larry guy will be back. As you likely noticed, he didn't register and he hasn't shown up to say anything else. |
