Dear Forum,

I recently purchased an unusual rocking chair manufactured by Wilkinson & Eastwood Chair Company in Binghamton NY. The large rocker seems to be made of solid mahogany, and has stunning carvings of dragons. The armrests end with a paw detail. Obviously, I know little about how to describe these details. I will attach a picture.

Is this object an arts & crafts chair, despite its ornate details?

The chair is marked 791 on its Wilkinson & Eastwood sticker.

Please help me if you have any information or leads on the matter. Referrals are appreciated.
