Anyone know who made my inlaid china cabinet? I believe its Grand Rapids. Maybe Luce? Super high quality . Heart shaped door pulls. Very large. Any input would help. Todd

Good Morning Todd,
Welcome to the Arts and Crafts Society Forums and we hope you continue to drop by every so often if not regularly. Since there were so many furniture makers in Wisconson it is hard to say just who did make your cabinet, however it could have been the Stickley brothers but, unless there is a mark on the cabinet their names would be there also. Respectfully, Ralph http://hometown.aol.com/ralj7/index.htm |

I agree with Ralph. Could be Quaint (Stickley Bros) but also could be Luce. The Shop Crafters made inlaid furniture too. But designs were Austrian inspired, not English. Your cabinet displays typical English style arts & crafts pattern inlay. Could be English as well. But Liberty and Co and the like had more exposed metal strap hinges.
