I am considering purchasing furniture from Caledonia Studios. Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback?

Simon,
The quality looks good. I suggest a call to the Better Business Bureau in Oakland. 1000 Broadway # 625 Oakland, CA 94607 (510) 238-1000 Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Hey Simon,
I just met Tedd, one of the principals of Caledonia Studios at a Bungalow fair in Seattle. I saw their bow arm chair at the show and decided to take a chance. Tedd threw in a free ottoman for my birthday, and delivered the chair to my house. He's a really nice guy. The chair is, imho, beautiful and importantly, very comfortable. I really love it. I'm 6'3", and that chair just fit me perfectly. The build quality seems excellent and there is great attention to detail, for example they put a nice little bevel on the front wood panel of the chair just below the cushion. Good luck, Craig |

SimonK; although Caledonia Studios has very fine furniture, there's no question about that; be very careful about paying anything in advance. I have friends that are in the retail busy with Ted and they have had quite a few problems with him NOT delivering the merchandise that's already paid for in full.
