Here are two chairs that seem to have many of the same features such as the really fat corbels. However, one has a curved back while the other is straight. Also one seems to be all straight sawn and the other quarter sawn. I really like both of them. The straight back reminds me of a Gus Eastwood chair - but of course it isn't.

Nice chunky chairs for sure; no idea on a maker but when you see something like this that isn't in line with most of the generic makers you wonder what other neat pieces the company made, i.e. rockers in this style, what would their tables look like, etc.

How about that little bookcase behind the chair in the first picture? It has a wicker lamp on it. It looks like corbels that go all the way through the piece.

Just where is this antique shop?
