I have a rectangular table with drawer and bottom shelf - it has wide scrolled legs. The tag in the drawer read "Wolverine Mfg. Co., Detroit 1887" It has a Patent #2831 on the bottom of the drawer. Does anyone have information on the value of this table?

Hard to say exactly what it is without a picture. Wolverine was a generic, but known manufacturer of oak arts & crafts furniture during the period. I had a Wolverine library table once, and it was very well built. Your desk sounds like a library table, however, with scrolled legs, it is not technically an arts & crafts piece. It was either made prior to the movement (Wolerine basically copied popular designs from Stickley and L & JG designs), or a very late piece after the movement waned. Wolverine desks are fairly common as generic arts & crafts desks go. An original finish desk (with craftsman design)around 30" x 48" would be in the $400 to $500 range. Your desk would be less desirable because of the scrolled feet. And would be valued less.
