Well, my wife hated the v back,so that one is out. On a side-note. I have no idea if this one is made by any of the majors, but do you guys think this one below would be worth saving? I am almost done refinishing one rocker and enjoyed it so much, I am looking to find another to save/refinish :=)

I wouldn't touch it. Not enough pictures to tell what the back is all about - is the padding or attached cushion or whatever supposed to be there?..or is it covering a slatted frame?..is the frame broken? etc. If it is supposed to be an attached piece, your'e looking at 400 dollars for new padding and leather, for both the back and seat, plus your time and effort to refinish and maybe repair the frame, so it all adds up to several hundred and lots of time, when alternatively you can just keep looking for something better and likely cheaper.

..and with a couple hours to go, at the time of this reply, nobody else has bid on it so that kind of says something

..and oh yeah, when you rip out the old stuffing on something like this, it is one totally awful mess and could smell to the high heavens..been there..

I will stick to trying to find another piece that is just very worn but without the upholstery issues, that upholstery does look nasty and I don't want to put that kind of money into it Wink

Well, they wouldn't take any less than $675 for the rocker that I started this post with....much more than I want to pay for that one. Am currently looking at this one. You guy's thoughts on finish, style, value would be appreciated Smile
