Here's an invite to forum mebers and guests to help with a little project that should benefit us all.

I've started a collection of digital pictures of shopmarks, brands, paper labels, metal tags etc. used by A&C furniture manufacturers. Please post any pictures you might have or can take of your pieces at home, and a 'go with' picture of the piece of furniture it came from. When I get things a little more orgainized I'll post an album of the collection for anybody and everybody's reference. I can then update it as new ones come along. As a tease here's an unorganized block of thumbnail pics of the start of the collection.

Great idea and maybe we can get some history on each mark or label to go along with them.
There is a problem though, when I clicked on the picture to get a better look it did not enlarge to see. Once we get that worked out it will work wonderfully.

The picture above is just a downscaled screen shot from the folder on my computer where I'm keeping all the pictures (in Windows XP you can show 'thumbnails' of everything in a folder and that's what the picture is). The idea was just to give an impression of how many I've collected so far. You can't enlarge this picture.

The 'album' will have much larger and clearer pictures.

Wow. That is some collection.
