Hello I have a question about a globe wernicke bookcase I have aquired. It has a top 2 sections and a base. I believe it to be mahogany ?? ..there are three tags that read pattern 841 grade 3025 1/2,pattern 809 grade 3025 1/2, pattern 811 grade 3025 1/2. also one piece says universal 9" unit and the other universal 11" unit. Any info you could tell me about this bookcase would be great exspecially when it was made and value. thanks in advance for your help.

If you open the Master thread you will find a link posted by stonecat and if you click on it you should better understand the various sizes and finish as there are so many different sizes and finishes as well as styles in the glass installation it is easy to get confused. Then main thing is trying to find the numbers and codes that you have to compare to your piece.

I guess it would have to be someone who would have a catalog of the different numbers and so on to give you an honest answer but, I know that I don't have one and I wouldn't try to guess there meaning as it might tend to misguide you.
