Ok, it's been over a month, we need an update!?! 97%-98% done, or better yet, waiting for the cd burner to stop with the first copy!! I'm IN!!
It's funny that your doing this i've only read posts on here for a couple of months now, but I too had started to save pictures of labels from mainly ebay items. But also pictures of odd designs from known manufacturers. I don't have nearly the amount you do but none the less it has been helpful. Can't wait to see what you've got!

I believe its at 347 pages as of yesterday and "content" is complete. I'm going to give it one proof read for spelling, formatting, making a table of contents etc. and burn the first copy. My plan then is to send this copy to a real expert (Jerry Cohen) as a freebie for help on various furniture ID questions I've sent him in the past, and see if he will comment on all the first tier maker content. The first tier stuff will be the most important to have correct - glitches in the inventory regarding all the generic makers are probably no big deal. If and when I can get some comments back, I'll start burning a bunch for orders. In the meantime maybe I'll post some teasers Big Grin

SC,

I have that Streit catalog from a while back. It really is not what I hoped, it does not have my chair in it but it does have some excellent pictures and articles, marked with prices and options. Would it be a fit for your collection? Let me know.

Honestly, probably not. I thought at one time I would try to collect catalogs, but I collect enough other stuff and have so many unfinished projects that I'll probably start to sell a few I already have. Bought on eBay and will sell on eBay. Maybe just put yours back on eBay and see what happens. If it goes slow and nobody is bidding I'll swoop in at the end, but if I get it and its too cheap I'll give you a deal on a CD Smile

EDIT - On the other hand, why don't I just trade you a CD for it when its ready? That way I can atleast check it out.

Deal!

I can scan it and email it to you if you would like. It's not very many pages, 8 total. It is interesting reading from a sales brochure.
