I came across a gorgeous mid-century bedroom set last weekend at an estate sale and noticed it was made (or sold or both) by Beals Furniture. I am a hobbyist, did some research and saw that it might hold some appeal for folks in the Northeast. It is a complete set: full bed, dresser with mirror and two nightstands. I must say that I have never seen a piece this age in this condition before. It is literally perfect condition (though does not look like it has ever been refinished).

If you or anyone you know is interested in taking a look, let me know. I do not know the demand for these pieces as I am in California and there is really none here, other than having a unique piece of mid-century Americana.

What style is it? I just did a quick Google and found a Beals piece that is reproduction Colonial, estimated from the 60's. This isn't really what gets discussed in this forum - the focus here is older Mission/Arts & Crafts.

sorry Stone, should have noticed by the name. Yes it is a mid-century piece, not colonial though. Tough to pinpoint exactly. Sort of modern I guess. Any ideas where I can go with this?
