Good Morning Friends,
I am going back in time a little on this portion of the history as it is something I feel will explain itself. Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio at 951 Chicago Avenue. This extraordinary building in Oak Park, Illinois was the Wright family residence from 1889 to 1909. Wright began construction of this house in 1889 shortly after his marriage to Catherine Tobin, using $5000 borrowed from Louis Sullivan. The Wright family - Frank and Catherine, and their six children - lived here while he developed his architectural practice, creating what became the " Prairie Style" of architecture. I am attaching a picture of the west face of the home. Respectfully, Ralph Jones http://hometown.aol.com/ralj7/index.htm |

There was no way I could attach the picture without this reply.
