Here's a neat little house located in Hampstead, Maryland that was sent in by Edee. It's neat and tidy and needs a bit o' landscaping. Comments?

I like the lines and flow of the house and I have never been a fan of siding.
It is a shame that utilities have to enter the house from the front and have such a detracting presence. Interesting way of ventilating the second story room. Fred (Moderator) http://fredz49.blogspot.com/ |

Hi Fred,
If you think the gas meter is injustice to that home you should see mine as the Gas Company condemned my old line and made me put the meter at the front of the house. I tried to hide it with a woven type screen but, they condemned it to as their meter reader would have to either go behind it or move it away and then reset it back in front of the meter. Now; Rikki, I do like the house and the approach to the front steps from the street could use a circular flower bed from each side of the front posts at the bottom of the steps and curve to the corners of the porch and filled with perennials to bloom in stages of the changes spring, summer, fall and winter. Also there could be a walk installed around the house to the back door or patio/deck areas. Then remove the clutter that may be left over from the remodel job.
