I posted this one time in an old thread. This is a bungalow I found on a trip to Maine last fall. I think it is a Sears home. Immaculate condition.

if memory serves, it is a sears roseberry. someone did confirm that.
i will add one with some interesting touches... i like the end gable treatment with the two small square windows and the repeating square louvre above. the radiating trim hints at tudor half timber without going overboard. there is an identical twin directly across the street. |

Don, Eric, this was discussed to some degree elsewhere but if you suspect a place to be Aladdin or Sears do you stop and tell the owners?

i have thought about it but have never done it. rose has done it and had good results. i would guess it would depend on if the occupant is an owner or renter, and the neighorhood.
overall i would think they would be interested and cooperative. whether they would give a tour is another thing. |

A tour would certainly be nice but just letting them know that kit homes even exist would raise awareness. I assume most people who live in kit homes don't even know it.
