very simple house with clean lines. subtle but nice detail on the brackets and on the trim around the gable vent

It is nice that the curved roof supports are carried out in that detailing. I also like the diamond shaped panes at the windows. These small a simple details do make a wonderful statement in design.

my pleasure. it actually gives me a reason to drive around snapping pics and enjoying these great houses . plus, i'm alway keeping my eye out for just the right one in the right place at the right price so that one day, i too can be a bungalow man.

I should have had my camera with me while on the road today. I saw one converted to look older, like a Victorian, with ornate braces, turned spindle deck modification, bright blue paint, and so on..pretty funny looking. A block away, a perfect stone and brick preservation/restoration job. Gotta remember that camera...
