this house is interesting in its asymetry, with the round peaked roof on the left and the shed dormer on the right. more interesting is that the columns under the shed roof side are plain while the columns under the round bay and the porch to the side have scrolled capitals.
the bases are also unusual... |

It looks like it might be a 2 family based on the steps on the side. I like the stonework on the porch!
With the asymetry thing goin' on, do you think that two family members each had their own idea about how their house should look and this house was the compromise for the two families? |
