Very nice Smile

Your fireplace just begs to have a couple nice mission rockers or arm chairs and ottomans in front of it. Not that I'm knocking your funky chairs, but just a suggestion. Did you do a lot of work on it - like the painting and woodwork finishing - it looks great.

Thank you Smile. I thought I left a reply here last time.

Yes we have a set of Mission armchairs and rocker and a desk. We got too much furniture right now from our previous home and from this house when we bought it. We have to put them in the attic.

This house is 100 years old and was built by a famous architectural company as a duplex for a known musician, the second family lived in the house for 40 years. The previous owner lived in the house for another 50 years. It has 9 bedroom 3 baths, 2 servant quarters. most of the woodwork are in great shape, Some of the wallpapers are original to the house. Other features includes... original paper curtains from 1905 stored in the attic. Original mission chandelier, gas/ electric light fixtures, sconce. Hammer copper door knobs, hardwares. Original arts and crafts leaded glass and stained glass windows. Arts and crafts curtain fabrics, Ballclaw bathtubs, lion head/claw laundry sinks. We are thinking about ripping out most of the wallpapers, polish the hardwood floor and repaint some rooms and put recess lighting in the living room and dishwasher in the kitchen.
