this is in the same neighborhood as yesterdays house.

i like the arched cover over the entrance. the side entrance creates a small courtyard feel, along with the paved area. tile roofs always add a touch of class.

does anyone else have this problem viewing bungalow of the day? it is happening more frequently lately, I assume it is because i am using a mac.

Nice home,

Your next task is to sneak into each of these homes and take inside shots. Seriously ... wouldn't it be great to be able to see the interiors of some of these places?

I never fail to admire these images you diligently place on the forum.... Thanks,

Fred

Not too sure it's the MAC. They're actually a better graphics computer than a PC x86 based. Try saving the file and associating it with what ever picture software is on your MAC. I don't know what format these pics are that Don posts...usually a picture is a jpg file. Windows sometimes has trouble opening these too. Good luck.

i did manage to go inside a couple of these. it was very disheartening. the insides had been totally stripped, dropped acoustical ceiling tiles, paneling. sometimes things are best left to the imagination.

Don- I have the same problem with some of the pictures you post as well. Usually about 1/5 of them don't open. I am asked to choose a program to open them but don't have one that works. Most of the time it works fine - like today's June 14th bungalow. I am running Windows XP Pro with all the standard features. Kinda weird.

Hi Steve. I'm running the same operating system. The reason that XP doesn't recognize these pics is that there is no file extension for it to read. Don confirms that they are indeed jpegs, but they don't have an extension on them (.jpg) It's either the software that Don is using to edit the pics or the file extension is being stripped off. This sometimes occures because of malicious code (virus) being hidden in jpegs. If you save the pic and rename it with the .jpg file extension, it will open with whatever default picture viewer you use. Usually MS picture and fax viewer.
