i like how the roof is steep then break in a more gentle slope. that slope carries into the porch roof.

the combination of brick and wood columns is also and interesting feature, as is the raised brick work. the broad stairs are also inviting.

again you are making me happy, there is a new stone house here with that changing slope roof. whenever we go by there at work i make everyone look at it. does that roof feature have a name?
