Our home, obviously AC but no built-ins, fireplace was added by us when we re-did this home. I have seen many AC homes but never one that resembled this one. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Arkarts

Thanks for your comments. Have you ever seen one similar to it?? I figure if anyone has, it would be you. It is a rather large house. 3400 sq ft. During the Depression, it was chopped up into 4 apartments and had 2 more baths added to the 2 that were there. We tried to take it back to the structure of the rooms as much as we could. Unfortunately, I did not retain the quality of the arts and crafts movement inside as it would have necessitated throwing out all my old furniture. It had 1x4's for trim and we added a lot of fancier trim, same period, different genre. Knowing that it wasn't true to the times. But I did try to stay true to some features, such as plate rails and beaded board in the bathrooms. I'd like to get your take on the front door. So I will post it soon. arkarts

Here's the door. We think it's original to the house which we have been told dates back to at least 1905. The sidelights were not original, we added them. aa
