I like the landscaping as well. This seems to have really been a trend lately, with the 'going wild' approach, including the use of more native species instead of exotics and hybrids, and also planting specifically for wildlife food and shelter. I wonder if this was part of the original A&C movement as well? Certainly the various utopian farms and colonys seemed to gravitate to country or small town settings where things were a little more rustic, but what about the bigger city bungalow streets, just like the ones Don is showing - wild or tamed, or maybe both, back in 1910???

although on a street dominated by bungalows, the landscaping on this one is not characteristic of the other, meticulously manicured lawns. i wonder how the neighbors feel about this yard?
