This one is interesting with the clipped dormer gables. I love the mitered siding corners - this is a detail not seen in modern constructions.

i have been seeing a lot of houses with clipped or hip gables. i didnt realize it was so common.

since you posted a house today, i will offer a weekend project i did. in the metalwork forum, stonecat posted a montage of harware, pulls hinges, etc. i printed that into a poster and framed it.
